Product Description:

Methyl Eugenol Block is a slow-release lure formulation used in fruit fly management, particularly effective against male Bactrocera species, including the oriental fruit fly. It is widely used in pheromone traps for monitoring and mass trapping in oriental fruit, helping to reduce fruit damage and pest population buildup.

How to Use:

Open the trap and place one Methyl Eugenol Lure Block inside the lure holder of the fruit fly trap. Secure the trap properly before hanging in the field.

Recommended Crops:

Suitable for use in mango, guava, citrus, watermelon, muskmelon, cucumber and other fruit prone to fruit fly infestation.

Insects Caught:

Male fruit flies (Bactrocera species), including oriental fruit fly and related species.

Dosage: 5 traps per acre for best results. Hang the traps 1–2 meters above ground level or at the canopy level of the host plant in shaded areas near the crop.

Lasts for:

Up to 3 months under normal field conditions.
