Visible Signs of Damage:

Clusters of Small Insects: Colonies of soft-bodied insects are commonly found on tender shoots and the undersides of leaves.

Leaf Curling and Distortion: Sap sucking causes young leaves to curl, wrinkle and become malformed.

Sticky Honeydew: Aphids release honeydew that makes plant surfaces sticky.

Sooty Mould: Black fungal growth may develop on honeydew-covered leaves and fruits.

Virus Transmission: Aphids can transmit mosaic and other viral diseases between plants.
